Q: “How much are lessons and how long are they?”
A: Lesson costs depend on what website, program or school you sign up through. Prices may vary depending on where you locate me (for example, prices through websites like Takelessons.com or Music & Arts may be higher than if you sign up with me directly since they offer money back guarantees, help finding new teachers if you are not satisfied, and other finder fees.)

Lessons are 30 minutes, 45 minutes or 60 minutes.

Q: “How do I sign up?”
A: Please enter your information in the "New Student Signup Page" and I will reach out ASAP. ☺

Q: “What ages do you teach?”

A: I teach students as young as 4 through adults!

Q: “Is there a long term commitment?”
A: Lessons are billed monthly. Two weeks notice is required to end lessons and receive a refund for unused lesson credits or avoid a cancellation fee. This is so I have time to potentially fill your spot with another student.

Q: "What is your cancellation policy?"
A: With a very full schedule, it is difficult and unreasonable to expect your private lesson teacher to accommodate excessive last minute notice makeups or provide credits for your personal conflicts. Please try to adhere to a regular lesson schedule and follow the cancellation policy so you can avoid being charged for a missed lesson!

As of 9/1/2021 only (1) makeup lesson/reschedule per Fall/Winter/Spring quarter will be permitted unless 2 weeks notice is given ahead of the expected conflict. Requests must be received before your scheduled lesson time. Forgotten lessons/no shows without prior written notice of absence will not be offered a makeup.

Q: “What method(s) do you teach?”
A: I am a registered Suzuki teacher, but lessons are tailored for each student's needs and goals. Books are recommended after the first lesson.

Q: “Are lessons in person or virtual?”
A: Both are offered! If you decide to do in-person lessons, masks are still required in my home studio whether you are vaccinated or not.
Zoom is preferred for Online Lessons.

Q: “My schedule may mean frequent cancellations, and or missed lessons. Does that mean I can't take lessons, and will I be charged if I need to cancel?”

A: It is important to try to stick to a weekly lesson schedule for the most noticeable progress. I cannot reserve a spot in my studio for you unless you can commit and pay for that same time spot weekly. Frequent unpaid cancellations means loss of billable time for your teacher.
